Cameron Gregory
Co-Founder

Cameron has been developing software on the net since 1995. While at AT&T, he was the lead developer on SystemX, which was one of the first true web based projects. This telco product included JavaScript, Java and CGI. It was original developed for Netscape 1.1 and deployed on Netscape 2.0.

As a part-time AT&T webmaster, he wrote their first applet, which appeared on their home page for many months, and won several awards. Cameron won three Best Effects awards from Gamelan (in the same year).

He wrote the original version of the javadoc frames version, and worked closely with Sun to develop the current version (and actually he is working with them now on some more enhancements). Also with Sun, he reviewed much of Java 2, and is acknowledged in the official Sun book: Java 2, Advanced Features (and some others!).

Databases: He wrote a custom database for AT&T, that held all of the facility information, including all of their T1 information. This 20 million plus record database, ran 20-100 times faster than Informix and could process all information in 4 hours, what it took the old database a week (and it ran on a sparc 2).
